  Entomologist Elizabeth Daley hosted us for a field day at her Buckland farm.

She will be carried from flower to flower by a male.

We brought many insects back for show-and-tell on the Daleys' veranda.

Host Elizabeth is looking at a specimen being held up in a jar by son Tony, who is also an entomologist.

Freeloader! This tiny pseudo-scorpion is holding onto the beetle's hind leg; it is not harming the beetle, but merely hitching a ride with its much more mobile host.
